graduation dinner @ imperial kingdom

6 dec was a busy day for ivy and all of us. four of us, including ivy, attended the graduation lunch at monash's campus centre. ivy had 5 tickets, for which she paid aus$26/ticket. lunch was a finger-food affair where we stood around while a prize presentation was held.

after lunch we moved back to ivy's place at atlantic street for a photo shoot. anton, one of ivy's church friends, had converted the living room into a studio. there was a large piece of cloth for the backdrop and at the sides was the lighting equipment. it was close to a professional set-up.

the graduation ceremony was held at the robert blackwood concert hall in monash's clayton campus. guests had to be seated by 4.00 p.m. pei chern was with us at the ceremony. ivy's church friends waited outside for the ceremony to be over to congratulate her and to have pictures taken with her.

that evening, at around 7.00 p.m., we had dinner at imperial kingdom, a popular chinese restaurant located at the corner of blackburn and ferntree gully roads. we had booked two tables to celebrate ivy's graduation with her church friends, relatives and with chris, del and bel.
